Each lesson features symbols to guide you as you teach.
Lesson Symbols Guide:
➡️ Arrow Emoji – Your cue to advance the presentation file as you teach.
❓ Question Emoji – A quick discussion question for everybody to answer. The kids can turn to a neighbor and quickly & quietly speak their response. In our Wednesday night program, we sit in small groups and the kids speak their answers to their adult small group leader. Note: many of these questions may be skipped for the sake of time.
⭐ Star Emoji – Some sort of instruction to the teacher.
👋 Waving Hands Emoji – A motion to do with the kids.

Printable Handout
During the series, the kids are taught a series of phrases to say to help them "put on" the armor of God. The printable handout below contains all of these phrases. Additionally, during the "Shoes of the Gospel" lesson, the kids are encouraged to use God's Word to share the gospel. The reverse side of this handout contains a series of Bible verse they can use to share the gospel, in addition to a QR code with explains them further.
Theme Verse
The Theme/Memory Verse we used for this series is...
Ephesians 6:10-11, NIV
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
